A one-year stay on Mars requires rethinking how to create the necessary conditions for subsistence. Considering that the greatest difficulty is to bring the materials from Earth, we must change the paradigm and transform the way of generating and exploiting resources, emphasizing sustainability. It has already been demonstrated that 3D printing is the path to the development of humanity as a multi-planetary civilization.
